System requirements

Only the person who is sharing content into a Zoom meeting needs the Presenter desktop app. Everyone else can join the meeting as usual to view and give feedback.

  • Zoom desktop client (minimum version 5.7.0)
  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 or macOS 10.15+
  • Minimum 8GB RAM recommended
  • Stable internet connection (5+ Mbps upload recommended for presenting)
  • Evercast Presenter desktop app (required for presenting)
  • Active Evercast Presenter account (required for presenting)

Install & setup

Download and install the Evercast Presenter desktop app (Mac or Windows).

Install the Presenter Zoom extension from the Zoom App Marketplace.

  1. In the Zoom Workplace, navigate to the Apps tab on the top right. 
  2. Search for ‘Evercast Presenter’ and download the extension by clicking Get.

  1. Start or join a Zoom meeting. 
  2. Go to the Apps > My Apps tab in Zoom and launch Presenter. 
    1. A small window will appear instructing you to Enter Collaboration Mode. Click Enter Now.
  1. Zoom will prompt you to start collaboration mode. Click Allow.
  1. Launch the Evercast Presenter desktop app and sign in.
    1. Choose what you want to share (for example: a video file, cloud upload, or a screen/application).
    2. Adjust your settings.
    3. Click Start Streaming
  1. Your content will appear in the Zoom meeting as high-quality video. 

Note: Viewers will need to accept your collaboration invite, in order to see the stream.

  1. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version. You can use desktop or mobile.
  2. Start or join a meeting where someone will be sharing with Presenter.
  3. You will see a notification inviting you to an Evercast Presenter collaboration. Accept the invitation.
  1. Sign in to your Presenter account using Google or Microsoft, or continue as a guest.

Note: Continuing as a guest may limit the features you can use.

  1. You can now view content shared into the meeting, with higher quality than standard screen share.
