About forensic watermarking

Watermarking helps provide content security for your organization. It acts as a deterrent against unauthorized sharing of sensitive or proprietary content. This article explains forensic watermarking, how it works, and how you can use it with Presenter.

Forensic watermarking provides invisible protection, without covering any of the video presentation. It works by generating a unique identifier for each viewer and embedding it in the pixels of the video stream, making the video traceable back to that viewer.

This digital fingerprint also contains data about the source, protecting against fake content as well as authenticating real content.

Forensic watermarking can’t be used at the same time as DRM.

Your workspace owner can enable forensic watermarking in the Features area of their Admin Portal.
